Parish Council

The Parish Council is composed of faithful men and women who are dedicated Orthodox Christians and who give of their time, talents, and resources for the Church. Together with our clergy, the Council represents the parish and seeks to fulfill the mission given to us by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Sunday School

Our Sunday School fosters spiritual learning through age-appropriate lessons: an introduction to the feasts, fasts, and liturgical life of the Church, prayers, Bible stories, crafts and projects, and liturgical songs. Classes meet on Sunday mornings during the school year; see the calendar for dates.

Orthodox Bible Study

Join us on Tuesday evenings for a fun and enriching Orthodox Bible study. All are welcome as we gather for fellowship and study, beginning with a potluck supper. Check the parish calendar for the current schedule.

Choir & Chanters

Music plays an integral role in the liturgical life of the Orthodox Church. Our choir leads the congregation in the hymns of the Divine Liturgy, and our chanters offer the Byzantine hymns of Vespers, Orthros, and the other services of the Church. New voices are always welcome.

Altar Servers

Altar servers assist the clergy during the services, carrying the cross, candles, and fans in processions and entrances. Young men and boys of the parish who would like to serve are encouraged to speak with Father.

Coffee Hour & Fellowship

Every Sunday after the Divine Liturgy we gather for coffee and fellowship. It is the best place to meet our parish family, and visitors are always our honored guests.

Boise Greek Food Festival

Our annual festival, held each year at the church on the first Friday and Saturday after Memorial Day, shares Greek food, music, dancing, and hospitality with the whole city. Our whole parish family makes it happen. Visit the festival website.
